Designers and architects of Grand Royal Furniture, Decoration & Design came back inspired after Maison&Objet Paris, the biggest design show in Paris Nord Villepinte.
This year January 20 – 24 Maison&Objet Paris filled eight halls divided by themes like Cosy, Eclectic, Elegant, Now! Design a Vivre, and Complements. The fair had over 1,000 exhibitors from around the world exhibiting great range of items from furniture to gifts by exhibitors that ranged from emerging names such as Denmark’s Nordstjerne, with its minimal vessels in marble and wood, to iconic design labels like Vitra, exhibiting some of its classics, such the Uten.Silo wall organizer. Japanese exhibitor Misoka demonstrated its innovative toothbrush that requires no toothpaste, thanks to its nano mineral ionic technology. Dutch design label Pols Potten created a colorful display of its vivid-hued potted artificial plants. French designer Pierre Charpin was awarded as Designer of the Year for his colorful, clean geometric designs. Fairgoers also enjoyed the silence in the proper sense of word, as that was the fair’s special theme for January 2017.
